Rice in lotus leafIngredients:
1&1/2 cups rice (your favorite)
1/2 cup turkey leftovers
2 Tbs stuffing leftovers
1 tsp cranberry sauce
1 Tbs Fried Onions
1 tsp Mangia Sweet Cajun Rub
Steam white rice until tender and sticky.
Combine Rub and rice and mix till even
Put a pile of rice mixture on a laid-out, washed lotus leaf (you can use a banana leaf as well).
Mat down the rice with your palm or a roller if too hot.
Once flat place turkey, stuffing, fried onions, and cranberry sauce.
Wrap all ingredients tightly on all sides with rice mixture using leaf. Tie up the leaf using string and let sit for twenty minutes or refrigerate and reheat later. A microwave is fine.
